I Can Still Shine is a Richland Hills organization that helps women and children start over after leaving abusive homes. Learn more about the organization by visiting their website.
I Can Still Shine has over 50 teen aged boys and girls that are in need this Christmas. They are asking for Walmart gift certificates in increments of $25 and $50 to allow these teens to choose their own gifts. Pick a tag off our Angel Tree located inside The Link and return with a gift card by Wednesday, December 7.
The City of Richland Hills is able to provide a family friendly event through the support of our sponsors and community partners. As a result of these collaborative efforts, the community can enjoy free admission and complimentary entertainment, attractions, crafts, and so much more. Whether a monetary contribution or in-kind donation, your support will earn your business face-to-face marketing in front of area residents and enhance your promotional campaign. Check out the Partnership Packet (PDF) for more information.
Spread some holiday cheer by hosting a Merry Maker Booth. Booths are free! Merry Makers provide a holiday treat, craft or interactive activity for 500 children such as ornament making, paper plate snow globes or snowman slime! These are just a few ideas. You may choose from your own holiday activity. We ask that each Merry Maker provide a different activity. Activity assignments are on a first come, first served basis. See the Merry Maker application (PDF).
We are looking for volunteers ages 14 years and older to help make this event a success. Individuals and groups are welcome! Submit a volunteer application.
